About Me
I'm Laura, founder of Shift Organizing Solutions.
I'm a mom, wife to a firefighter, and a business owner. I know what it's like to have a full life - work, kids, schedules, the mental load of keeping everything running. I also know what it's like to have a beautiful home that doesn't quite work the way you want it to.
I started SOS because I realized something: you don't need someone to tell you to get rid of everything or spend your weekends reorganizing. You need someone who understands how your family actually lives and can create a home that works with that reality.
My background in operations taught me how to see the whole system, identify what's breaking down, and fix it efficiently. But it's my experience as a busy mom in a busy household that taught me what actually matters: spaces that function so well you stop thinking about them.
Today, I work with clients one-on-one and lead a small team for larger projects. In every project, we do the same thing: assess how you live, design systems that make sense, execute beautifully, and then get out of your way.
At the heart of SOS is this: organization is infrastructure, not decoration. Your home should make your life easier, not give you another standard to keep up with.
Meet Your Team
I work one-on-one with some clients. For larger projects (moves, renovations, whole-home transformations) I bring in a small team of Associate Organizers who work alongside me.
Here's why this matters: multiple hands means the work gets done faster. You're not waiting weeks for one person to tackle your entire home. Instead, your spaces are functional, beautiful, and ready to actually live in sooner.
Every organizer on the SOS team operates the same way: we assess how your family lives, we solve for that reality, and we create systems that stick. Same philosophy, same standards, multiple hands to make it happen efficiently.
Who We Work With
We work with clients who have beautiful homes that look good but don't quite work the way they should. Clients who are capable, busy, and tired of reorganizing the same spaces over and over. Clients who understand the value of hiring someone great to take something off their plate.
This is a good fit if you:
Have a home you love, but certain spaces constantly frustrate you
Are tired of making the same decisions about where things go
Don't want decluttering advice—you want systems that work
Value your time more than your weekends
Want expert guidance, not someone to micromanage
Are ready to hand off the problem and get back your mental space
The result: a home that works so well you stop thinking about what needs fixing.
Ready to hand it over?
